HD Hyundai to build shipyard in Thoothukudi
South Korean shipmaking firm HD Hyundai has plans to set up its first shipyard in India in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin, and the state's industries minister TRB Rajaa and senior leadership from HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering (KSOE).
