Honda plans investment worth Rs 920 crore at Vithalapur plant
The wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Honda Motor, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter, has plans to invest Rs 920 crore to build a fourth production line at Gujarat's Vithalapur plant. As per the firm new line will be added by 2027 and will increase the plant's capacity to 2.61 million units.
The investment is around 9.2 billion rupees. The new line will produce 125cc motorcycles.
