Kanpur Ring Road project: L one bidder for 2 contracts announced
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has informed that Raj Corporation Ltd. is the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for 93.2 km Kanpur Outer Ring Road‘s Packages 1 & 4. Scope of the project involves the development of 6 lane greenfield expressway that will link Sachendi, Ramaipur, Rooma, Chakeri Airport, Trans Ganga City, and Mandhana at an estimated cost of Rs. 5,182 crore. The project would also be connected to the under-construction Lucknow – Kanpur Expressway near Amarsus village.
Raj Corporation Ltd. placed a bid of Rs 647.42 crore and Rs 547.67 crore for Package 1 and Package 4 respectively. Package 1 covers 23.325 km lying west of Kanpur city and will connect Sachendi (Ch. 0.000) with Mandhana (Ch.23.325).
Package 4 lies south of Kanpur city and will connect Sachendi (Ch. 93.209) with Khudhgaon (Ch.68.650) and is 24.559 km long.
