L&T emerges L one bidder for NCPIL's Rs 2500 crore order
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-One bidder) for an engineering-procurement and construction (EPC) order from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL). The project is related to Nuclear Island and involves electro-mechanical works of the Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojana – 1&2 (GHAVP 1&2). The estimated value of the contract is worth upto Rs 2500 crore.
The scope of the work involves engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of nuclear equipment, valves, nuclear ventilation, plant water package, and piping for all the core nuclear systems in the Nuclear Island of GHAVP1&2. As per the tender work is scheduled to be completed in 48 months.
