Mother Dairy to set 2 processing plants , investment worth Rs 750 crore on cards
The wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board, Mother Dairy has plans to set up 2new plants for the processing of milk as well as fruits and vegetables to expand its business amid rising consumer demand. Rs 650 crore investment is planned for these projects along with Rs 100 crore to expand the capacities of its existing plants.
Also. Mother Dairy is coming up with a greenfield plant in Nagpur, Maharashtra with an investment of around Rs 525 crore which would have a processing capacity of 6 lakh liters of milk per day, which can be expanded up to 10 lakh liters a day.
