New ethanol unit at Raichur to be set by Mysore Petro Chemicals
Mysore Petro Chemicals has planned to set up a new ethanol unit with a capacity of 400 klpd spread over 22.09 acres of land parcel. The unit would also have an installation of a 4.5 MW co-generation power plant, 88 tpd DWGS dryer, and 154 tpd fermentation unit.
The proposed project is to be set at Hegasanahalli village in the Raichur district of Karnataka. As of now the firm is awaiting environmental clearance and expects to start the work on the project by Q3/2023 and complete the same by end-2024.
