PM launches projects worth Rs 10,000 crores in Kerala
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched projects worth Rs 10,000 crore in Kerala. The launched projects are of different central ministries spanning from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Among the projects launched by the PM are:
- Laying the foundation stone of the Polypropylene unit at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Kochi. Estimated cost of the project: Rs 5,500 crores
- Inauguration of highway projects, each built at a cost of over Rs 2,000 crores
- Launch of initiatives worth Rs 142 crore in the railway sector
- Inauguration of stations Shoranur Junction, Kuttippuram Railway Station, and Changanassery Railway Station developed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with an estimated cost of Rs 52 crores
