SiCSem to set up counrty's first silicon carbide semiconductor plant in Odisha
Automation and electrification solutions provider SiCSem has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for India's first end-to-end silicon carbide semiconductor production plant in Odisha. The project would take an investment of Rs 2,000 crores.
The facility would have a capacity of processing 60,000 SiC wafers annually and packaging about 9.6 crore units. It is expected to be operational by 2027-28.
