Titagarh Naval's shipyard expansion project: Union government gives nod to the work
The subsidiary of Titagarh Rail Systems, Titagarh Naval Systems Ltd (TNSL), has received an in-principle approval from the Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways for its brownfield expansion project at Falta in the state of West Bengal.
The project will take an investment of around Rs 610 crores and will be developed under the Centre’s Shipbuilding Development Scheme. This project aims at strengthening shipbuilding and maritime manufacturing capabilities in the country. The government assistance for the work is Rs 129 crores.
