Uttar Pradesh Budget 2025: 7 Expressways spanning 56 districts planned
The state government of Uttar Pradesh has planned the development of 7 new expressways to improve road connectivity and boost economic growth across the state. Combined length of the expressways would be 866 kilometres, covering 56 districts.
These projects would take an investment of Rs 500 billion and are expected to take next 2 to 3 years. The projects include:
- Chitrakoot Link Expressway – 120 km
- Jhansi Link Expressway – 100 km
- Jewar Link Expressway – 76 km
- Vindhya Expressway – 320 km
- Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway – 100 km
- Lucknow Link Expressway – 50 km
- Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Ganga Expressway Link – 90 km
