Work on Amul's Rajkot plant to start soon
Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (GCMMF), the owner of the popular dairy brand Amul would soon start work for a new 20 lakh liters per day (LLPD) milk processing plant near Rajkot.
As per information Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to virtually perform ground-breaking for the Rs 500-crore plant this week. The plant which would be a common mega-dairy for the Saurashtra region will be set up at Gadhka village in the Rajkot district.
