16 Defence PSUs to spend over Rs 32,766 crores in R&D
16 defense public sector undertakings (DPSUs) have planned to invest over Rs 32,766 crore towards Research and development (R&D) in the next 5 years. These DPSUs cater to diverse sections and cover DPSUs that manufacture planes, tanks, helicopters, electronic parts, missiles, artillery guns, ammunition, warships, rifles, radars, and sensors.
This amount exceeds Rs 30,952?crore that has been invested by these DPSUs in R&D in the last decade.
