Tata Sons to invest around Rs 11,000 crores in Jamshedpur
Holding company of the Tata Group, Tata Sons, has announced its plans to invest Rs 11,000 crore in advanced technology for Jamshedpur. The plan is to invest in technology to reduce the carbon footprint.
Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran made this announcement on the eve of the birth anniversary of Tata Group founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata. The city of Jamshedpur is also named after Jamsetji.
