Andhra Pradesh government signs agreements worth Rs 3 lakh crores for renewable energy projects
The Andhra Pradesh state government has signed agreements worth nearly Rs 3 lakh for renewable energy projects to be set up in the state. These investments span areas like pumped hydro storage, green hydrogen, wind, solar, biofuels, and energy storage.
The agreements were exchanged between the New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP), the Energy Department, and investors. Further, the plan to develop Visakhapatnam as a growth hub was also launched.
