Bagmane Group in talks to buy Cognizant’s India HQ in Chennai
Commercial real estate major Bagmane Group is discussing acquiring US-based Cognizant Technology Services' office space in Chennai. The deal can be done for Rs 800 crore as Cognizant aims to reduce the costs involved in relinquishing 11 million square feet of global office space.
The campus that serves as the firm's headquarters in India is spread over 13.39 acres and could develop an additional 3 million square feet upon acquisition, aiding in operational efficiency optimization.
