Bajel Projects bags order worth over Rs 586 crore from PGCIL
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Bajaj Electricals Limited (BEL), Bajel Projects Ltd has bagged an order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) worth Rs. 586.28 crores. The contract is for supplying goods and services for and on behalf of Beawar-Mandsaur Transmission Limited, their project-specific SPV.
As per the tender, the scope of work involves Transmission Line Package TL01 for the 765 kV D/c Beawar—Mandsaur PS Transmission Line—Part I. It is a part of the Transmission System for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Phase IV (Part 2: 5.5GW) (Jaisalmer/Barmer Complex) Part-D, which is being developed through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route.
