Biscuit Business Of Patanjali To Be Acquired By Ruchi Soya
The largest manufacturer of edible oil in India Ruchi Soya Industries has announced the acquisition of the biscuits business from Patanjali Natural Biscuits (PNBPL). The acquisition is to be completed in the next two months. The amount of the Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) for the acquisition agreed under the is Rs 60.02 crore. Â
The consideration is payable in two tranches -- around Rs 15 crore of the total purchase consideration will be paid on or before the closing date, while the rest of Rs 45.01 crore will be paid within 90 days from the closing date.
