Railway approves rail over bridge in Gunadala
The Indian Railways (IR) has approved the construction of a road over bridge (ROB) in Gunadala, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. This project, worth Rs 98.68 crore, is expected to address chronic traffic congestion at the busy Gunadala railway level crossing.
As per updates from ETInfra.com, 170 trains pass through the crossing every day, forcing the gate to remain closed for 14 to 16 hours daily and causing long traffic snarls for motorists and commuters travelling between Gunadala and Nunna.
