Consortium of Sterlite Tech bags order for 2,631 crore under BharatNet project
The consortium of Sterlite Technologies (STL) and Dilip Buildcon has bagged an order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) as part of the BharatNet initiative. STL Networks, the newly separated subsidiary of the firm, along with Dilip Buildcon in a consortium, signed a pact with Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL).
This order is worth Rs 2,631.14 crore and involves design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network for the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Telecom Circles. The period of completion of the work is 3 years, followed by a ten-year maintenance contract.
