Damodar Valley Corporation unveils Rs 1,500 crore project in Bengal and Jharkhand
Government Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has unveiled a Rs 1,500 crore project to modernize power supply within its command area, primarily serving West Bengal and Jharkhand industries.
The aim is to establish a robust distribution network, incorporating advanced technologies like unmanned substations and automated systems to ensure continuous quality power and reduce losses. This project is expected to be completed within 18 months. In phase 1, the firm will deploy 12 E-houses, 8 conventional indoor-based 33/11 KV substations, and 4 GIS-based prefab substations.
