BDA unveils new town plannning schemes for planned urbanisation
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has announced 4 new schemes for new town planning (TP). These schemes, spread across 969 acres, are aimed at fostering planned urbanisation and economic growth.
These town planning schemes by the BDA are: Patrapada mouza, spread over 330.07 acres; Bhagabanpur mouza, over 264.33 acres; Bijipur, Bhagabanpur, Baliapada and Kasipur mouzas, over 290.67 acres; and part of Bijipur mouza, over 83.68 acres, as per updates from ET Realty.com.
Under the scheme, landowners contribute up to 40% of their land towards the creation of public infrastructure such as roads and drainage systems, while the remaining 60% of the land is returned to them as developed and serviced plots.
