GAIL to develop bio-CNG plant at Haralakunte
Government-owned natural gas firm GAIL (India) Limited has plans to set bio-CNG plant in Karnataka. The state government of Karnataka cleared the proposal for the allotment of land for the project.
As per updates, the allotment of 18 acres of land is done at Haralakunte village, Begur Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk. The land is allotted on a permissive use basis for 25 years to establish a 300 metric tonne per day bio-CNG unit, expandable up to 500 metric tonnes per day.
