Godawari New Energy to set up BESS plant in Maharashtra
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Godawari Power & Ispat (GPIL), Godawari New Energy (GNEPL), has plans to set up a 10 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Maharashtra.
The firm would invest Rs 3 billion in the project, and the investment includes both the existing equity shareholding in GNEPL and participation in the company’s upcoming rights issue.
