Heritage City project: YEIDA gives approval to the project worh Rs 6,000 crore
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has given its nod to a detailed project report (DPR) of the Rs 6,000 crore Heritage City project. The project is to be developed on 2,965.2 acres of land along the Yamuna Expressway.
The authority will prepare the bid document that will contain the terms under which developers will be invited to work on the project. The proposed project is aimed at creating facilities for Hindu devotees who visit the Banke Bihari temple in the Vrindavan area of Mathura. The project would have a parking zone on 46 acres, a convention center on 42 acres, a yoga center, green zones, ancient historic area renovation, and homes for widows and ascetics, among other facilities.
