Heritage Committee Approves Redevelopment Plan of Nagpur Railway Station
The Heritage Conservation Committee (HCC) has given its nod for the redevelopment plan of Nagpur railway station. The station that falls under the Central Railway zone is now set for a new modernized makeover. Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Limited (IRSDC) would be charged with the responsibility of the project implementation. A detailed report in regards to the proposal was submitted by the IRSDC to Nagpur Municipal Corporation as well as the Heritage Impact Plan was furnished before the Nagpur Heritage Conservation Committee. The proposal was also discussed last month in a meeting called by the Heritage Conservation Committee on 13 August 2020 at the Head Quarters of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
