The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has invited bids from interested firms for the cluster redevelopment of Kamathipura in South Mumbai. Kamathipura, which is spread over 34 acres of land, is among the city’s oldest and most congested areas.
The project aims to transform the locality by providing safer housing to over 8,000 tenants and residents. The scope of work involves the development of modern residential units, commercial spaces, and improved infrastructure, with the goal of social renewal for the neighborhood.
