Navi Mumbai airport: Commercial operations to begin in March 2025
The Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Steel, Jyotiraditya Scindia informed that the upcoming airport at Navi Mumbai is expected to start commercial flight operations by March 31, 2025. Scindia conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing developments.
Minister's visit included a progress review meeting on the project's status operational readiness, and a detailed site inspection. The airport has multi-modal connectivity initiatives that will link it through rail, road, and metro.
