OIL, ONGC Bag Blocks In Open Acreage Licensing
Government-owned ONGC, OIL, and GAILhave bagged 8 out of 10 blocks at the Open Acreage Licensing (OALP) offered for exploration and production of oil and gas in the OALP 7th bid round. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) won 3 blocks while Oil India Ltd (OIL) won 2. GAIL walked away with one block in Rajasthan while Sun Petrochemicals Pvt Ltd won the remaining two blocks.
