PMAY-Urban 2.0: Odisha eyes 30,000 affordable houses
Odisha is planning to develop around 25,000 to 30,000 Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) dwelling units and nearly 5,000 rental housing units across multiple urban local bodies over the coming years under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0.
In line with this plan, the Odisha Urban Housing Mission has initiated the process of appointing consultancy firms to prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) and provide technical implementation support. The state body will select three consultancy firms to assist in planning, designing, and executing the AHP and Affordable Rental Housing projects.
According to the Housing and Urban Development Department of Odisha, the last date for submission of bids is September 4, 2026.
