Projects worth Rs 55,000 crores underway in border areas: Union Railway Minister
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that railway projects worth Rs 55,000 crore are underway in the state’s border regions. The minister stated that, considering the defence needs and strategic geopolitical considerations, the Railways is implementing several network-strengthening projects.
Vaishnaw made the statements at the launch of the Swarnagiri Express, which will connect Jaisalmer and New Delhi.
