Solex Energy to setup new manufacturing facility, BESS project in Gujarat
Solar energy firm, Solex Energy, has plans to develop an integrated solar cell manufacturing facility and a battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Gujarat. The firm will invest Rs 4,000 crores in the project.
The firm signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project with the government of Gujarat. As per updates, a 10-GW BESS project and a 5-GW solar cell manufacturing facility are to be developed in phases.
