Vizhinjam port: PM Modi inaugurates second phase of the port
Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the second phase of Adani Group’s Vizhinjam transshipment port in Kerala. The project is expected to attract investment worth USD 1.1 billion in additional investment and triple its capacity.
The port is strategically located near key shipping routes and aims to reduce India's reliance on foreign ports like Colombo and boost cargo movement across Adani's network, potentially transforming India's role in global maritime trade.
