Vizhinjam International Seaport project: EAC gives nod for expansion work
Vizhinjam International Seaport is set for expansion as the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) recommended the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) to grant environmental clearance for the second and third phases.
The cost of work (both phases) is estimated at Rs 9,540 crore. Adani Group is the concessionaire of the project and will begin the work after the MoEF issues the order.
