ACME group signs pact worth Rs 67,000 crore with Odisha government
Renewable energy firm ACME Group and Japan's IHI Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Odisha state government. The pact worth Rs 67,000 crore is aimed at accelerating technology transfer and green industrialisation.
This came after the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to India, where she held summit talks with the Indian Prime Minister. Odisha's Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also interacted with the Japanese business delegation. Majhi said that Odisha aims to establish one of the largest green hydrogen ecosystems in the country.
