Bangalore to Vijayawada Expressway: L one bidder for 3 contracts announced
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has declared the L one bidder (Lowest bidder) for 3 civil construction contracts of the 518 km Bengaluru – Vijayawada Expressway project. Dilip Buildcon Ltd. (DBL) and Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd. (MEIL) have emerged as the L one bidder.
DBL won Package 7 and MEIL won Packages 8 and 10 in Andhra Pradesh. The 6-lane access-controlled expressway (NH-544G) will be built under Bharatmala Pariyojana (BMP) Phase 2 with a mix of brownfield-upgrade (36%) and greenfield (64%) routes.
Dilip Buildcon Ltd. placed a bid of Rs 737.20 crore for package 7 which covers Audireddipalle (Ch160.000) to Mallapalle (Ch. 176.000). Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd on the other hand placed bids of Rs 622.93 crore and Rs 564.07 crore for Package 8 and Package 10 respectively. Package 8 covers Mallapalle (Ch176.000) to Kavulakuntla (Ch196.000) while Package 10 covers Narayanmpet (Ch203.500) to Chandrasekharpuram (Ch228.000).
