Royal Enfield plans to set up new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh
Renowned motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has plans to set up a new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The plans include an investment of Rs 2,200 crores for the facility that is likely to be set in Satyavedu in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district.
This proposed new facility will add nearly 900,000 units to Royal Enfield’s existing annual manufacturing capacity of around 1.46 million motorcycles. The state government has allocated around 267 acres of land for the project across Vanelluru and Rallakuppam villages.
