BHEL floats tender for BESS project in Hyderabad
Government-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has floated a tender inviting bids for the development of a rooftop solar project integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS). As per the tender, the scope of the work involves the development of a 1,130 kW rooftop solar project integrated with a 4,520 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at its Ramachandrapuram facility.
The selected firm will undertake design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance of the solar and storage system, along with integration with BESS. The last date for bid submission is 14th May, 2026.
