Furniture cluster to come up in Indore
Madhya Pradesh government minister Omprakash Saklecha informed that a leading furniture company in the US talked to its officials to invest in Madhya Pradesh as the government’s part of developing furniture clusters. The state government has planned to develop at least 10 furniture clusters in the state. In Indore, a furniture cluster has been proposed in around 190 hectares in three phases.
The concerned MSME ministry has decided to initiate the first phase with around 25 hectares of the revenue land and has also started a process to seek possession for the remaining around 165 hectares of land as claimed by the forest department.
