Kochi Metro: Phase 1 B to be commissioned by year end
Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL) has said that the elevated corridor of Metro Phase 1-B extension from SN Junction to Tripunithura is likely to be commissioned by December 2023. KMRL has completed the installation of I-girder works of the 1.163-km-long corridor. The track works will be ready by September.
As per updates slab works up to the terminal station building is progressing on a fast mode and the work on the concourse area of the station is in the final stage of completion. Electrical and painting works are in progress.
