Mumbai Metro: MMRDA floats tender for work related to line 5A
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has floated a tender inviting bids for work related to Line 5A of the Mumbai Metro. The tender is for the selection and appointment of a general consultant for the civil works of the 11.829 km elevated line. The Line 5A will have two spurs, one of which will connect to Kalyan, while the other will terminate at Ulhasnagar.
MMRDA will submit the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for line 5A, estimated to cost Rs 4,063.08 crores, to the Maharashtra government.
