NTPC plans to develop coal to SNG project in Chhattisgarh, to invest Rs 10, 000 crores
Government-owned thermal power producer NTPC has plans to develop a coal-to-synthetic natural gas (SNG) facility in Chhattisgarh. The firm will invest Rs 10,000 crore in the project with an aim to produce synthetic natural gas from high-ash Indian coal.
NTPC is looking for technology tie-ups for various processes, like coal beneficiation and gasification, to produce synthetic natural gas (SNG).
