Rs 19,000 crore worth assets to be sold by Essar Group
Integrated flat carbon steel manufacturer, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS) has acquired a clutch of infrastructure assets including three ports, two power plants, and a power transmission line from Essar Group. The transaction is done for an estimated amount of Rs 19,158 crore.
Two firms have also agreed to form a 50-50 joint venture partnership for building a 4 million tonne per annum LNG terminal at Hazira.
