Rs 350 Crore Investment Planned By DCM Shriram
Chemical-based industrial group DCM Shriram has decided to invest over Rs 350 crore, mainly to expand the capacity of sugar mills. The firm has given approval to 3 investment proposals for the sugar business to capitalize on the increase in sugarcane availability in its catchment area. DCM's factories are located in Ajbapur, Rupapur, Hariawan, and Loni in Uttar Pradesh, with a combined installed capacity of 38,000 TCD (tonnes crushed of sugarcane daily).
