Rs 6,500 crore CAPEX planned by SAIL
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has planned a CAPEX worth Rs 6,500 crore during the current financial year as part of its Rs 1 lakh crore investment plan over the next few years. As per the firm, most of the capex expansion (Rs 1 lakh crore by 2030) will start flowing from FY26.
The CMD of the SAIL said while speaking at the Indian Steel Association event, that there are concerns over Chinese steel dumping and urged government action to mitigate this issue.
