SAEL Industries plans to develop 300 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh
Renewable energy firm SAEL Industries Ltd has plans to set up a 300 MW solar power project in Andhra Pradesh. The firm's subsidiary, SAEL Solar MHP1 Private Limited, would invest $ 132 million in the development of the project.
As per updates, the funding for the project comes from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the New Development Bank (NDB), and Societe Generale, with each contributing $ 44 million. SAEL bagged the order through a competitive bidding process conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
