ACME Solar plans to invest Rs 20,000 crore for expansion
Gurugram-based renewable energy company ACME Solar plans to invest around Rs 20,000 crore in capital expenditure to expand its renewable energy business. The company is particularly focused on battery energy storage systems (BESS) and is all set to deploy about 10 GWh of battery capacity this year.
ACME is expecting the demand to remain strong, particularly from data centres, green ammonia, industrial electrification and other large consumers. It has also signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) for about 4,000 MW of FDRE and hybrid projects.
