Skoda Inaugurates new R&D wing in Pune
Czech carmaker Skoda's Indian arm, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), has announced the inauguration of a new wing of its Technology Centre Pune (TCP). Spread over 33,000 sq. ft., the R&D facility is dedicated to advanced vehicle development, platform engineering, software solutions, and sustainable mobility innovations.
The TCP was launched in 2019, and this new R&D wing will enhance localisation efforts, support export markets, and uphold the Group’s standards of quality, safety, and technology.
