Bhubaneswar Metro: 11 bidders place bid for contract BBC-04 and BBC-05
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has informed that 11 civil engineering firms have placed a total of 21 bids to construct packages BBC-04 and BBC-05 of Bhubaneswar Metro’s Phase 1 project which will connect Trisulia Square – Biju Patnaik Airport via 20 elevated stations.
Package BBC-04 worth Rs. 664.06 Crore is 7.27 km long and is located in the middle of Bhubaneswar Metro’s 26 km Line-1, will link Acharya Square and KIIT Square via 7 elevated stations, while 10.970 km Package BBC-05 at the northern-end of Line-1 will link KIIT Square and Trisulia Square via 6 elevated stations.
Package BBC-05 worth Rs. 869.71 crore includes a ramp leading to Phulapokhari Depot & Workshop which will be built by M I A Construction under Package BBC-02 on a 16 hectare parcel.

- KEC International Ltd.
- NCC Ltd.
- Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL)
- Ranjit Buildcon Ltd. (RBL) – Package BBC-04 only
