Chotelal Ki Ghat: IHCL signs MoU for redevelopment with Kolkata port
Hospitality firm Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed an MoU with Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata. This MoU is for the redevelopment of historic Chotelal Ki Ghat, with an investment of up to Rs 5 crore.
Originally built in the 1870s on the Hooghly Riverfront in Kolkata, the project is being supported by INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage). The project also aligns with the Namami Gange Program and Swachhata Initiatives.
