Delhi metro: 4 firms place bid for tender related to phase IV work
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has informed that 4 firms have placed bids to supply 16,935 MT of head-hardened rails for Delhi Metro’s Phase 4 project. Bidders for the project are:
- ArcelorMittal Espana
- Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL)
- Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
- Voestalpine Rail Technology GmbH
Scope of tender involves manufacturing and supply of 16935 MT Head Hardened Rails UIC 60/60 E-1 (Class-A), 1080 Grade, IRS-T-12-2009, for Delhi Metro Rail Project – Phase IV Corridors (i) Line-8 Extn. – Janakpuri West to R.K.Ashram, (ii) Line-7 Extn. Maujpur to Majlis Park, (iii) Line-10 – Tughlakabad to Aerocity.
